I just booked a room at The Nashua House on Martha's Vineyard. I'll be staying overnight in order to enjoy a mini-vacation of walking, local beer, fresh sea air, and sightseeing.
I decided not to go when i woke up this morning. I had second thoughts about the finacial output for such a trip, and decided against it. And when I called the hotel to let them know I wasn't going to be there, the proprietor said she wouldn't allow me to forfeit my prepay, and refunded my money! Sweet.
I'll try again as it gets warmer, or wait 'til my friends want to go too.
